My Name is Cassandra Bogle, LCSW-C. I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. I attended Western High school and went to Towson University to receive my BS in Family Studies and Community Services. Directly afterwards, I graduated from University of Maryland, School of Social Work. I have 10+ years of clinical experience. I have worked with Children, Adolescents, Parents, Couples, Families, and Individuals. I have chosen relationships as an area of expertise. I recognize that couples and relationships are my passion. Our therapists are trained in Solution-Focused therapy, Emotionally Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prepare/Enrich and Gottman Method. Your therapist can help you identify what causing you distress and work out the issues to maintain healthier relationships with your loved ones, friends, or acquaintances.
Relationship Therapy is a collaborative process. Our therapists are trained in Solution-Focused therapy, Emotionally Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prepare/Enrich and Gottman Method. Your therapist can help you identify what causing you distress and work out the issues to maintain healthier relationships with your loved ones, friends, or acquaintances. Now, your therapist cannot magical fix your problems, but if you are willing to put in the effort and time, your therapist will work with you to evolving your relationships into healthier and happier ones. You, as a couple, must make a strong commitment to practicing and applying the skills you learn within therapy.
In our first intake session, your therapist will conduct a thorough assessment of your relationship. Your relationship’s history, current status, problem areas, and your goals for the future will be explored. Your therapist will use these assessments to develop a personal treatment plan and vision for your therapy. All couples and relationships are not the same. So a tailored plan is necessary.
During the following sessions, you and your therapist will begin the work of transforming your relationship, starting with the most problematic areas. The therapist’s office is a safe place to discuss problems/ issues, differences of opinion, and possible solutions.
Attending therapy may assist couples ability to engaging in open communication and others attend couples therapy due to a significant change in their relationship or common stressor. There are many different reasons one may believe therapy will help their relationship. The following are common scenarios that have often brought couples to therapy:
· I don’t understand my partner anymore. I don’t feel like I know them.
· Divorce conversations
· Constant conflict
· Infidelity
· Emotional Affairs
· We just don’t communicate well anymore
· We are just going through the motions
· I’m not happy. They are not happy.
· It feels like we are just occupying the same space

· We are not on the same page, any longer

Sometimes, both partners are not in the same place, when it comes to the future of the relationship. We can still assist. We will help couples to determine if they still wish to grow more together, end the marriage, or leave things the same and revisit at a later date. Sometimes, you need a little assistance making these important decisions.
